Are these suitable for Arabic B (non-native learners)?
Yes. All The Majlis Academy books are written specifically with Arabic B (non-native) learners in mind. The language is carefully controlled, developmentally appropriate, Â and supported by Companion Packs that scaffold vocabulary, sentence use, and meaning so that children can engage confidently with Arabic from EYFS through Year 1. Extra resources to support language development and and cultural understanding are provided through our amazing Book Boxes and Cultural Boxes.

In addition to the books themselves, The Majlis Academy provides comprehensive Companion Packs that support planning, delivery, and assessment. These include structured talk prompts,
guided play ideas, exploratory tasks, vocabulary guidance, morphology notes, classroom visuals, and assessment look-fors, all designed to support high-quality Arabic teaching in bilingual settings. Each book also has an accompanying Book Box which contains figures, manipulatives, and artefacts that are related to the story and which help young readers to engage with the variety of elements in the book.
