Salim’s Adventures in the Seven Emirates

Salim spreads out a map and dreams of adventure: one week, seven days, seven Emirates.

Salim sets off with his little red backpack to explore all seven Emirates in seven days, collecting treasures from each stop. A lively tale of discovery, pride, and belonging. Salim spreads out a map and dreams of adventure: one week, seven days, seven Emirates. From gazing up at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai to wandering Sharjah’s Blue Souk, exploring Ajman Fort, and meeting fishermen in Umm Al Quwain, each day brings him a new experience and a special keepsake. He prays in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, climbs Ras Al Khaimah’s rocky mountains, and splashes in Fujairah’s sea, until his backpack holds seven sparkling treasures — each a memory of his country. More than souvenirs, these treasures reveal the true gift: love of the homeland and the joy of exploration. This story encourages children to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the UAE, while also introducing days of the week, landmarks, and values of pride and gratitude.
